My first complete comic ever that never got to see the daylight. The story is about a boy and his uncle, who is always too late for the boy his birthday.

This is a selection of photo’s from an enormous wall painting that I made in collaboration with Bobbi Oskam. The wall painting is located in an old school building and it covers about three floors from one of the building’s stairwell.
The wall painting starts at the first floor and it works itself all the way up from the first floor to the third and last floor through some gigantic bright coloured characters. We wanted to make sure that all the different floors and parts of the wall painting were connected in some kind of way so we decided to let certain body parts disappear / appear through holes in the walls.
Pictures don’t really do this justice (for example, the characters at the third floor are about 4-5 meters high!) but I just felt like sharing. I’ve been invited to be part of something special. I’m way too excited for this so I decided to do a little warm up.
