Risoprinted illustration that I made for Planet Tropicana Magazine.
Very thankful to be part of this project!
Made this on Valentines day.
To hell with Valentine, have some ‘goeie tijd’n’ (good times) instead!
Goeie Tijd’n - approximately 20 x 24cm.
Three seperated colour layers printed on Schut paper blanc à grain 180g/m + coloured pencil afterwards on the print itself. Edition of 2.
P.s. these two prints are for sale here: http://nikvanes.bigcartel.com/
This is my entry for the exhibition R-Rated Memories, a tribute to the Dutch movie director Paul Verhoeven.
I was asked to make a poster inspired by one of Paul Verhoeven his movies. I picked the classic Dutch movie Turks Fruit (Turkish Delight).
I finally got around to post this!
This is my entry for Superschelden, an initiative by Studio Moan and Uitgeverij Wuft.
Both parties asked 12 Dutch illustrators to design a poster inspired by a comic superhero and a chosen cussword in Dutch. The posters were then silkscreened in 2 colours and exhibited and sold at NS16 in Tilburg.
"Spinneman - Lachebek!", 500 x 700 mm, silkscreened in blue and red. You can buy the poster here:
My first complete comic ever that never got to see the daylight.
The story is about a boy and his uncle, who is always too late for the boy his birthday.
Sneakpeak for something that I made for Collection Plus, issue #13.
Very thankful to be part of this project, can’t wait to see it printed!
Having some fun with making gifs.
